What to expect at your next visit to Whistlers

Another lockdown almost done and another re-opening to look forward to....... and what a challenging year it has been for so many of us! Although on another hand..... one might say that we have become experts at re-opening a business 1....2.....3..... times, and all in a 12 month period...... Well, hopefully this is the last time..... At least one thing we can be sure of is that Whistlers has developed many invaluable processes that will help keep you safe now and well into the future.......  And while we are committed to keeping the staff & customers at Whistlers covid-free we are also excited to combine our current alfresco dining with the option to dine in too! We look forward to serving you very soon......

Hand sanitiser is located at the entrance and throughout the restaurant. We recommend that as a minimum you sanitise your hands as follows:

  • upon entering & exiting the premises and/or bathroom
  • before & after consuming a meal
  • before & after handling something that someone else has handled

All staff have been trained in the importance of effective hand hygiene & follow the same recommendations

  • In line with government guidelines, all staff will wear a face covering while working in customer facing areas of the premises
  • You are not required to wear face coverings while seated at your table
  • If however you need to move about the premises (e.g. use the bathroom) a face covering is required

  • We continue to maintain a thorough cleaning schedule, which has increased in frequency, paying particular attention to hotspots, such as door handles & bathrooms
  • Shared table items such as salt & pepper grinders are “always” sanitised before & after each use
  • Card machine terminals are wiped down with antibacterial surface wipes between each use

  • Pre-payment is accepted over the phone using credit/debit card or via BACS transfer
  • Contactless payment is accepted at time of dining
  • Cash is accepted, however we ask that you have the correct amount so that no change is required
